PAGASA issued Rainfall Advisory No. 77 at 5:00 AM on September 10, 2026, warning of light to moderate rains across several provinces in Northern Luzon due to the Southwest Monsoon.
The Habagat is driving these weather disturbances. While some parts of the region are already experiencing active downpours, PAGASA expects the rain to spread across the rest of the covered areas within the morning.
In La Union, it is advised that residents living near mountain slopes and low-lying areas must be vigilant of risks due to landslides, mudslides, rockslides, and flash floods.
The advisory covers several neighboring provinces in Northern Luzon, listing specific areas currently or soon to be affected:
- Pangasinan (including Dagupan City, Lingayen, Alaminos City, and Sual)
- Ilocos Sur (including Candon City, Tagudin, and Suyo)
- Benguet (including Baguio City, La Trinidad, and Itogon)
- Abra (Tubo)
