Light to moderate rains across several provinces in Northern Luzon will still be induced by the Southwest Monsoon on September 8, 2026, according to PAGASA. Potential hazards are being monitored. Rainfall Advisory No. 61 was issued at 5:00 AM.

Residents in La Union are advised to take safety measures as the rain system moves through the province. Local disaster risk reduction and management offices are currently monitoring mountain slopes for potential landslides, mudslides, rockslides, and flash floods.
