PAGASA reports a low pressure area was spotted 1,030 kilometers east of Northern Luzon, while the southwest monsoon continues to bring rain across Luzon and the western section of Visayas.

Thunderstorm Advisory No. 10, issued at 5:13 AM, warns of immediate weather disturbances caused by the southwest monsoon. Residents in Aringay, Caba, Tubao, Agoo, Rosario, Santo Tomas, and Pugo should prepare for sudden heavy downpours and strong winds.

The rest of La Union and neighboring provinces in the Ilocos Region will continue experiencing cloudy skies accompanied by scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Coastal residents face challenging conditions at sea. Majority of Luzon’s coastal waters will experience moderate to rough conditions, with wave heights reaching 1.5 to 3.4 meters. Winds blowing from the southwest are expected to range from moderate to strong.
