Tropical Storm Kiyapo Brings Stormy Weather to Northern Luzon

PAGASA, says Tropical Storm Kiyapo (international name NOUL) has prompted stormy weather advisories and general flood monitoring across Northern Luzon as of 5:00 AM on July 24, 2026. The storm system is causing widespread severe weather, strong winds, and rough sea conditions throughout the region.
In La Union, temperatures are forecasted to range between 25°C and 30°C on Friday, accompanied by gusty winds. Coastal waters across municipalities such as San Fernando, San Juan, and Bauang are expected to see moderate to rough conditions, posing risks to maritime activities.

The extended forecast for Northern Luzon details the following conditions over the coming days:
- Friday, July 24: Temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C with gusty winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
- Saturday, July 25: Temperatures between 25°C and 30°C with strong gusty winds and rough sea conditions.
- Sunday, July 26: Temperatures from 25°C to 31°C with moderate to strong winds from the southwest to southeast and moderate to rough seas.
- Monday, July 27: Temperatures between 25°C and 32°C with moderate to strong winds from the southeast and moderate to rough coastal waters.
