Moderate Winds and Coastal Waters Forecast Across Northern Luzon

According to PAGASA, Northern Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms on July 16, 2026, due to localized weather disturbances. The state weather bureau issued this regional forecast at 5:00 AM, advising residents in affected provinces to prepare for sudden weather changes. Temperatures across the region are expected to range between 26°C and 33°C with light to moderate winds.
In La Union, local government units and residents in coastal towns like San Fernando City, Bacnotan, San Juan and Bauang should expect moderate sea conditions. The South to Southwest winds will blow at light to moderate speeds, making coastal waters generally safe but requiring caution for small sea vessels.
The state weather bureau highlighted several key details for the region:

Although PAGASA officially terminated Thunderstorm Advisory No. 11 at 5:07 AM, safety officials still urge vigilance. Residents living near mountain slopes in the province are advised to watch for signs of landslides, mudslides, or flash floods during sudden downpours.
