La Union faces cloudy skies, rainshowers, and thunderstorms with moderate coastal conditions

According to PAGASA, cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in La Union today, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 33°C and light to moderate winds from the northwest to west. Coastal conditions in the province are moderate, while nearby areas may experience moderate to rough seas.
The extended weather outlook indicates continued unsettled conditions through the weekend:
- Thursday: Temperatures 25°C–33°C, moderate to strong winds from southwest to northwest, moderate to rough coastal conditions
- Friday–Saturday: Temperatures 25°C–31°C, gusty winds, rough to very rough coastal conditions
- Sunday: Temperatures 26°C–32°C, strong southwest winds, rough to very rough coastal conditions
A Thunderstorm Watch #NLPRSD was issued at 10:00 PM on July 8, indicating thunderstorms are more likely to develop over Ilocos Norte within 12 hours. No heavy rainfall warning has been issued for La Union as of today.
